Shaped their world to meet their needs
and humans reached for a new era.
 
Lighting fires brightened the dark,
spinning wheels rolled us along.
Magnification showed us the sky,
and paper preserved both right and wrong.
 
Electrified homes and vaccinated bodies
spread faster than fires and tools and wheels.
We’ve split atoms and voices far and wide,
that rule the info age and ideals.
 
And today this homo sapien
Took fingers to screen and tapped away
